The Halton Children’s Aid Society provides community-based services in Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton and Oakville. Through this comunity-based model, we work in partnership with:
- Our Kids Network, using the Power of Relationships, Research and Knowledge to Help Kids Thrive.
- The Halton District School Board and the Halton Catholic District School Board where we have child protection workers co-located in various schools
- Halton Region Healthy Babies Healthy Children
- The Halton Regional Police Service where we have staff co-located in both the Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit and the Domestic Violence Investigative Unit
- The Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK) through their COMPASS program for families where the caregiver’s mental health issues affect their parenting
- Halton Women’s Place through their Bridging Families program that offers support and links to services for mothers in abusive situations
- Woodview Mental Health and Autism Services through their Linking Youth and Families program for parents struggling with their adolescent’s behaviour
