Bridging the Gap is a voluntary program offered to youth who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Our program promotes youth to use their strengths, skills and experience to achieve their goals.
Homelessness includes:
- Couch surfing
- Camping out
- Nowhere to go that night
- Kicked out
- Planning ahead for independence
We help youth ages 16 to 24 years of age access:
- Emergency Shelter
- Supportive and Independent Housing
- Financial Assistance
- Food and Basic Needs
- Secondary, Post Secondary and Alternative Education Programs
- Employment Options
Youth or community members can reach a Bridging the Gap Transitional Youth Worker by phone or email to make a referral.
Intake appointments are arranged in the youth’s community such as a local coffee shop, library, school, etc.
