The Children’s Aid Foundation of Halton, through fundraising and community partnerships, enriches the lives of children in need today, enabling them to reach for tomorrow.
The CAFH supports programs that directly enrich and enhance the lives of children and youth in need and assist in the increase of prevention activity. The CAFH supports the delivery of crucial programs, which are planned and implemented by the Halton Children’s Aid Society, to all those in need within the Region of Halton.
The CAFH consists of a Board of Directors of volunteer professionals who plan activities that add to the funds available for our children, youth and families. The Board approaches individuals, corporations, foundations and other philanthropic groups, such as churches and schools, to ensure we have the funds to sustain our current programs and create new and exciting ways to give children the childhoods they deserve. The CAFH also raises money through special events such as bingos, raffles, races, golf tournaments and a multitude of other creative activities.
The CAFH raises funds for the Society’s programs and activities not covered by government funding. For example, one program the CAFH supports helps young adults transition successfully to living independent of the Society. Donations make real, life‐changing and wonderfully positive differences to the lives of the children and youth we serve.
There are many ways you can help prevent child abuse and neglect. Your financial contributions help us help more children and youth by funding more programs and enabling more children and youth to participate in existing programs.
