Halton Children’s Aid Society is pleased to share its 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, Helping Children, Youth and Families Thrive, which will guide the Agency’s priorities and work over the next four years.
The plan reflects Halton CAS’s continued commitment to protecting children and youth, strengthening family well-being, and supporting healthy, enduring relationships with the people and communities that matter most to children, youth and families.
Developed through consultation, collaboration and reflection with staff, leadership, the Board of Directors, community partners and families served by the Agency, the plan provides a clear framework for how Halton CAS will continue to respond to the evolving needs of the communities it serves.
A central focus of the plan is Halton CAS’s community-integrated service model, which supports more accessible, responsive and culturally informed services through strong partnerships with community organizations, schools and local agencies.
The 2026–2030 Strategic Plan is organized around three Strategic Pillars:
1. Advance Our Community-Integrated Model for Better Experiences and Results
2. Be a Change Agent for Service Transformation
3. Strengthen Our Organizational Culture for Success
These pillars are supported by strategic goals and Key Performance Indicators that will help the Agency measure progress, strengthen accountability and continuously improve over the life of the Strategic Plan.
The plan also reflects Halton CAS’ ongoing commitments to equity, reconciliation, cultural safety, sustainability and thoughtful stewardship of resources. These commitments are woven throughout the plan and will continue to guide how the Agency works with children, youth, families, staff, partners, and communities.
Halton CAS looks forward to working alongside families, staff, partners and the broader community to advance this plan and continue helping children, youth and families across Halton thrive.
