Current Status
The Halton Children’s Aid Society would like to thank you for your interest in seeking a student placement with our agency. We are at capacity and are not currently accepting new applications. As this changes, our website will be updated so please check back soon.
Overview
The Halton Children’s Aid Society (Halton CAS) provides placements for students throughout the year. The majority of our placements are focused in direct service delivery and students commonly join us from Bachelor/Master of Social Work programs; however, whenever possible, we try to offer student opportunities in areas such as social service work, administrative services, finance, human resources, information technology and public relations.
Mentorship Programs
Each student is appointed a mentor. Our mentorship program allows students to get one-on-one access to a professional in their field.
What to Expect
Students can expect to be fully immersed in their area of expertise as they work alongside their mentor.
