Family Support Worker

Family Support Workers will work with Child Protection Workers to assist the Society in fulfilling its mandates under any and all pertinent legislation. This position is responsible for working with families, children and alternate caregivers to develop appropriate goals and/or service objectives. Family Support Workers provide service according to professional standards towards the best interests of children, families and the Society. The nature of this work is to provide intensive, short-term service with flexible time commitments designed to meet the needs of the client, which may include weekend and evening work. One Vision One Voice Project Lead

Reporting to the Manager of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the One Vision One Voice (OVOV) Project Lead is responsible for the strategic implementation of the One Vision One Voice 11 Race Equity Practices as well as other initiatives as required from the OVOV provincial project. This position provides expert advice, knowledge and guidance to facilitate the planning and decision making for the implementation of equity and anti-Black racism strategies at the Halton Children’s Aid Society. The position also consults and engages with members, partners and stakeholders, where required, provides leadership to direct service workers and writes and

Executive Director, Our Kids Network

Our Kids Network (OKN) is a Halton-wide partnership of agencies and organizations serving children and youth. As a collective impact network, OKN builds capacity of community organizations that support children, youth and their families. OKN has been a part of the Halton community since 1996.

Reporting to the Co-Chairs, OKN Champions, the Executive Director provides leadership to OKN and is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the programs and initiatives in accordance with the vision, mission and role of OKN in working towards achieving the Halton 7 Population results. The OKN Executive Director oversees the day-to-day operations of all activities of OKN and is a systems thinker who works strategically with community partners in support of children and youth in Halton.
